We value and rely on student membership to sustain the Black Graduate Student Association at Michigan State University. While the BGSA hosts fundraisers and seeks funding opportunities for larger organization events, members pay annual dues to offset costs for smaller social and academic functions, including, but not limited to: 

 

• Welcome Back BBQ or Brunch

• Fall + Spring Mixers

• Spring Research Symposium

• Spring Gala

• Refreshments at monthly meetings

• Supplies for community outreach and service projects

• Marketing, printing costs, etc.
